Opencart Customisation

Natalie Canning Interiors

Natalie Canning Interiors make handmade curtains, soft furnishings, cushions and other natural fabric goods. They are based on the Suffolk border and we created a heavily customised OpenCart site for them.

Restyled OpenCart from top to bottom following following feedback to the customer's design.

Added an "Order Samples"  including logic to prevent double ordering of samples and ensuring the customer orders a maximum of 5 samples.

Integrated with Barclays credit card payments. Rewrote the Barclays module to change routing on failure of card transaction.
The default OpenCart behaviour on failure is displaying a page saying "thank you for your order" then sends an email "there was a problem" .
The new behaviour take the customer straight to a page "sorry there was a problem with your card…"

Rewrote the Royal Mail postal module to work by UK post code and Irish (lack of postcodes). The default works by weight.

Modified the import from XL module to accommodate several custom fields, incorporated these fields into the admin area of OpenCart and on the product page.

Integrating a WordPress blog to run as a module within OpenCart. This is work in progress.

Create a "curtain creator" online pricing module to allow customers to design their curtains and get a price. This is the next stage of the website.

Epic Action Imagery
We modified OpenCart to allow bulk upload of photos to automatically create the sales pages based on data stored in the photos.
